The seven rules behind the number

  1. 01

Priced per person, and nothing else

The price is the per-person rate times the number of people. 2 people cost two times one; six cost six times one. It’s one all-in number, with no fee lines added at any step.

  2. 02

Why a short job costs more per hour

The drive to you and back is the same for a 2-hour job as a 5-hour one, so a short job priced at the long-job rate wouldn’t be worth anyone’s trip. 5 hours or less works out to about $40 an hour per person at the ceiling; 2 hours or less is about $60.

  3. 03

    Tiers are ceilings, not ranges

“5 hours or less” means anything from the first minute up to 5 hours. A job that runs past 2 hours books 5 hours or less. Every tier starts at zero, and the whole crew works the same clock: 2 people for 5 hours or less is both people for the same 5 hours — ten person-hours of work.

  4. 04

At the ceiling, the crew stops

When the block runs out, the crew stops working. If they’re able to stay, you can approve an upgrade on site from 2 hours or less to 5 hours or less for the difference — $83 per person. That upgrade is the only additional charge that can ever happen. 5 hours is the longest block we book, so there’s no upgrade past it; a job that looks bigger is one to call us about before you book.

  5. 05

You're reserving labor time, not buying a guaranteed finish

You’re booking people for up to a set number of hours. We’ll tell you honestly if a job looks bigger than the block you picked, but the price buys the crew’s time — not a promise that every box is in the truck when the time runs out. Finish early and the block isn’t prorated.

  6. 06

    Cancellation, both ways

Cancel at least 24 hours before the start of your arrival window and it’s free. Inside 24 hours, 50% is kept — on 2 people for 5 hours or less, that’s $202 of $404. If the crew arrives and can’t get to the job, the full $404 is charged. And if we can’t field your crew, you get the full $404 back plus a $50 credit toward your next booking. You cancel from the link in your confirmation, which shows the exact refund first.

    Same-day is the same price

No rush fee, no weekend rate. A crew today costs what a crew next week costs.
