- How and when do I get paid?
- Per job, per person. Once the crew lead marks the job done, pay is sent to your debit card the same day — or to a bank account, which takes a couple of business days to land. Nothing is taken out of your pay.
- How much is a job worth?
- It depends on the block of time the customer books. The amounts are on the work page, and every offer shows the pay before you accept.
- How do jobs come to me?
- By text. When a job opens in a window you marked, we text you the date, the window, the area, the crew size, and the pay, and you accept or decline in the app — never by replying to the text. That's why offers need job-offer texts turned on: with them off, we can only offer you work by phone. Declining changes nothing about the offers you get later.
- Is there a set amount of work?
- No. This is independent contractor work with no guaranteed hours. How much you get depends on how much work comes in and the windows you mark yourself available for.
- How do I say when I can work?
- In the app you mark the windows you're free, and you add days you can't. Offers only come for windows you marked.
- What does the background check look at?
- Identity and criminal history, run by a screening company. We pay for it. You see the disclosure first, then give written authorization separately, and you can decline. If something comes up, you get a copy and a chance to respond before any final decision.
- Do I need a truck?
- No. The customer always supplies the vehicle or the dumpster. Having your own vehicle to get to the job helps and gets you more offers.
- Do I bring tools?
- Bring work gloves and closed shoes. For yard work, tools help and you can mark that on your profile. Nothing else is on you.
- What if I can't make a job I accepted?
- Tell us as early as you can so we can fill it. It happens. Not showing up without a word is the one thing that puts you out.
- What about taxes?
- You're an independent contractor, so nothing is withheld. You get a 1099-NEC in January if you earned over the IRS threshold, and you file it yourself.
- Can I stop for a while?
- Yes. Pause yourself in the app and offers stop. Turn it back on whenever you want.
