Terms of Service
Version 2026-09-29
These terms cover booking a crew from Prompt Hands LLC, doing business as Prompt Hands (“we”, “us”), for work in Broward County, Florida. They are written to describe exactly how we operate. When you book, you accept the version shown above, and we record that version with your booking.
1. What you are buying
You are reserving labor time: one to six people, for up to a set number of hours (a “tier”). A tier is a ceiling, not a range — it starts at zero and ends at its limit.
You are not buying a finished task. We will tell you honestly if a job looks larger than the tier you chose, but the price buys the crew’s time, not a guarantee that the work is complete when the time runs out.
2. What we do, and what we don’t
We provide labor only: carrying, loading, unloading, stacking, clearing, and rearranging, at one address per booking.
- You supply any truck, trailer, container, or dumpster. We do not provide one.
- The crew does not drive your vehicle, ride in it, or take anything away from your property.
- We do not do licensed trade work of any kind. Appliances and fixtures must be disconnected before the crew arrives.
- The crew does not climb or use ladders over six feet, and does not handle hazardous materials.
- The crew brings work gloves. You supply dollies, straps, moving blankets, and any other equipment the job needs.
- The crew may decline any lift or task they judge unsafe. Declining an unsafe task is not a failure to perform.
3. Booking and confirmation
Some bookings are requests: you choose the service, crew, tier, date, and a 30-minute arrival window, and we confirm by phone that a crew is available before anything is charged. Once confirmed, we send a payment link for the quoted price. Your booking is made when that payment goes through.
Where we have published availability, a booking may instead be confirmed and charged at the moment you book. We never charge for a time we have not confirmed we can staff. Same-day bookings must start at least 3 hours after you book.
4. Price and payment
- The price is a per-person rate for the tier, times the number of people. It includes travel and fuel. No fees are added.
- The full amount is charged when the booking is made. It is not a hold and not an estimate.
- Nothing is owed on site. Please do not pay or tip the crew directly; they are asked not to accept it.
- The only additional charge possible is an upgrade you approve on site (section 6).
- Payments are processed by our card processor. We do not store your card number.
5. Arrival and the working time
The crew arrives within the arrival window you chose, and your tier’s time starts when they arrive. If the crew will miss your window, we will tell you as soon as we know.
If the job finishes before the ceiling, the crew leaves and the tier is not prorated.
6. Reaching the ceiling, and upgrades
When the tier’s time runs out, the crew stops. If the crew is able to stay, you may upgrade to the next tier for the difference between the two tier prices, per person. An upgrade happens only with your approval on site, is charged to the payment method you used, and is the only way the price can change. If the crew cannot stay, the job ends at the ceiling and nothing further is owed.
7. Your part
- Be present, or have someone you authorize present, when the crew arrives and before they leave.
- Have the vehicle, container, or dumpster at the address and accessible when the crew arrives.
- Arrange building access, elevator reservations, parking, and gate codes in advance.
- Tell us about stairs accurately when you book, and tell us about anything unusually heavy, fragile, or valuable.
- Keep pets and children clear of the work.
8. Cancellations and changes
- Cancel more than 24 hours before the start: full refund.
- Cancel within 24 hours of the start: 50% of the total is kept and the rest refunded.
- If the crew arrives and cannot access the job — no access, no vehicle or dumpster, nobody present — the full amount is charged.
- If we cannot field your crew, you receive a full refund plus a credit toward a future booking.
- To change your date or time, call us. A change more than 24 hours before the start is free if we have a crew for the new time.
9. Damage, injury, and incidents
If something is damaged or anyone is hurt, tell the crew at the time and call us the same day at (954) 280-0099. We will record what happened, ask you for photos and a description in writing, and respond in writing within five business days.
10. Who does the work
Crews are independent contractors who accept jobs through Prompt Hands. We set the price, take the booking, and are responsible to you for these terms.
11. Messages and your information
Texts are optional and governed by our text message terms. How we collect and use your information is in our privacy policy.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. If there is a problem, call or write to us first — most things are fixed on the phone.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. A booking is always governed by the version accepted when it was made, which we record with the booking.
